Cancellation Policy

For Retreat Coaches & Facilitators
House of Honey reserves your retreat dates exclusively once your quote is signed -- no other bookings are accepted for that window. The following terms apply to coaches and facilitators booking the venue.
Booking Fee
A €1,000 non-refundable booking fee is due at signing to hold your dates and begin the launch process. This fee is credited toward your 25% venue deposit (below)-- it is not an additional charge on top of it.
Minimum Guaranteed Headcount
Your minimum guaranteed number of students is set in your original quote, and reconfirmed at the 60-day checkpoint below.
The 60-Day Checkpoint (60 days after your retreat's public launch)
Sixty days after your retreat opens for registration, House of Honey reviews your minimum guaranteed headcount and total student payments received, together, against a 25% venue deposit target-- inclusive of the €1,000 you already paid at signing.
If student payments plus your booking fee already total 25%+ of the venue fee: your deposit obligation is satisfied automatically. Nothing further is owed at this stage, and the retreat proceeds.
If the total falls short of 25%:** this is a joint go/no-go decision between you and House of Honey.
If we decide not to move forward: the retreat is called off. Your €1,000 booking fee remains forfeited (as it was, non-refundably, from signing) and no further amounts are owed by either side.
If we decide to move forward anyway: you're responsible for paying the remaining amount needed to reach 25%. This does not need to be cash -- bank transfer in EUR or USD is accepted.
If You Cancel (after the 60-day checkpoint, once committed)
90+ days before your retreat start, and House of Honey can rebook the dates with another coach: deposit forfeited, no further balance owed.
- 60–90 days before, or House of Honey can't rebook: deposit forfeited, plus 50% of the remaining venue balance owed.
- Less than 60 days before, or House of Honey can't rebook: full venue fee owed -- there's no time to refill the calendar, so this applies regardless of how far out the cancellation falls.
Student refunds when a coach cancels
Cancelling after the checkpoint also triggers refund obligations to your students under their own cancellation policy here -- that responsibility sits with you, not House of Honey. House of Honey deducts its forfeited deposit and any shortfall owed off the top of collected student funds first, then refunds students from what remains. If that's not enough to cover what students are owed, you're responsible for the difference out of pocket.
If House of Honey Cancels
- Full credit toward a future available date, no expiration, or
- Full refund of fees paid.
Rescheduling
A one-time date change is available at no additional fee if requested more than 90 days before your original retreat start, subject to availability.
